Amber Woods—owner and operator of Prosper Horsemanship in residence at Pinestone Farm—believes the strongest horse‑and‑rider partnerships thrive on trust, communication, and mutual understanding . Her approach combines Western horsemanship with therapeutic bodywork, creating programs that nurture both the physical and emotional well‑being of the horse.
Over a decade immersed in equine work, starting her riding journey at just six years old. Background in hunter/jumper and eventing, later transitioning to Natural Horsemanship and Equine Therapy. She worked at a training facility for more than two years, honing a therapeutic training approach grounded in horse wellness and soundness. She is a member of a professional mounted drill team—refining precision, timing, and teamwork through performances nationwide
Certified as:
Level 2 NFC™ (Neuro Fascial Conditioning)
REST™ (Rib Entrapment Syndrome Therapy)
She earned her certifications through Zenma Equine Wellness Institute and integrates bodywork with groundwork to enhance mobility, performance, and injury prevention
All horses in the training program with the consent of the owner will receive equine body massage as part of their training plan, if the owner consents.
At Prosper Horsemanship, we believe physical comfort and emotional balance are essential for a horse to learn, perform, and live well. That’s why we offer specialized equine bodywork sessions designed to relieve tension, restore mobility, and promote long-term soundness.
Amber is certified in both Rib Entrapment Syndrome Therapy (REST™) and Neuro Fascial Conditioning (NFC™), combining hands-on therapy with her horsemanship background for a complete, horse-centered approach.
🐎 What Bodywork Can Help With:
Muscle tightness & tension
Soreness or stiffness under saddle
Uneven movement or reluctance to bend
"Cold-backed" behavior
Compensation patterns after injury
Postural imbalances or rib cage restrictions
Anxiety, stress, and emotional blockage
💼 Techniques Used:
REST™ (Rib Entrapment Syndrome Therapy)
Identifies and releases restrictions in the rib cage that can cause pain, stiffness, and behavioral resistance.
NFC™ (Neuro Fascial Conditioning)
Soft-tissue work that restores flow through the fascia and improves mobility, proprioception, and overall performance.
Myofascial Release & Joint Mobilization
Hands-on techniques to soften and lengthen muscle and connective tissue, encouraging range of motion and freedom of movement.
These sessions are beneficial on their own or as a complement to training, rehabilitation, or maintenance in performance horses.
🐴 Recommended For:
